The 12th edition of Executive Radar magazine featured a special report on social entrepreneurship, highlighting the history of Bio Fair Trade and its founding partner Márcio Waked.
The text speaks of the positive impacts of social businesses in the community, as well as their greatest challenges. In addition, it points out the differences between social and traditional business. In a social enterprise, profit is the means, not the end, and sustainability is seen in the foreground as a business strategy.
The great example of this is Bio Fair Trade, which, since its foundation, has already allocated R$ 6 million in direct revenues to more than 3,000 artisans around the country.
